I turned on some Weepies tunes this morning, sat down with a colouring book (because, really - you're never too old), and declared it a 'non-sick day'. And somehow, I think it might be working. After a week of being stuck at home and just feeling bleah, it's feels so nice to actually want to create things again. This head of mine is making less room for aches, and more room for inspiration. And if anything good came out of being sick, I finally learned how to swallow pills. (only took me sixteen years...)
some photos as of late
xx
being sick is no fun...so glad you're finally feeling better, sis! and i've recently mastered the art of swallowing pills, too. because it really is an art, isn't it?! ;)
ReplyDeleteyour photos are so pretty, by the way. like it's not already obvious... ;)

Sick days are just no fun at all. Seriously, though, your photographs are ah-mazing!
ReplyDeleteI remember how my brother used to never be able to swallow pills; it was quite funny yet distressing to see him continually fail at attempting to swallow them. ;) Glad that you are feeling better, though! For me, being sick is torture...
ReplyDeleteit only took me 16 years too...so happy that you're feeling better! so, that 3rd picture is ridiculously beautiful. do you still have snow where you are then?
ReplyDeletethank-you! yes, mounds of snow. like, everywhere.
DeleteI used to not be able to swallow pills... glad that time in my life is behind me. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the first photo, it is gorgeous!
I'm not alone!! It only took me 16 1/2 years to learn the art of swallowing....boy am I glad that I finally did :) I'm glad that you're feeling better...
ReplyDeletejust feeling "bleah"? that's adorable. and it's also the name of my best friend, so you're officially beastly.
ReplyDeleteand an indie coloring book? you've got to be kidding me. i've never heard of those, because down here in texas we're not as hipster, but i'll have to spread the word and get some for myself. lovely photos! especially loving the third and fourth. :))

I hope you're feeling better girl! And lol at the pill swallowing ... I hate it too.
ReplyDeleteoh sorry you're sick. :( I love the first photo, the colors are so vibrant.
ReplyDeleteAnd I adore coloring, I love it.
Glad you're feeling better! And I've been taking medication for almost a year now, don't see it ending soon, and I couldn't swallow pills before that. It doesn't faze me now!
ReplyDeleteAnd I need a new colouring book. It's just fun to colour!
It's awesome to hear that you're feeling better! And swallowing pills is interesting - I've always been able to do it, but certain family members cannot. ;)
ReplyDeletexx
I couldn't swallow pills until well into my teen years! It must run in the family, because I don't think that Boppa could do it either. He would put his pills in a teaspoon of jam and then swallow it all at once!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, as usual!
thanks so much, erica. i did not know that about boppa. how funny!
Deletemiss you lots!
the picture of your kitty in the snow is perfection.
