A Lovely Saturday

Saturday was absolutely lovely. I've been wanting to stop by Lune Vintage for such a long time, and I finally got to. What a beautiful shop. I could have stayed there for hours. Jill even let me snap some photos, which was very kind of her. It was so hard to choose something to buy (everything was adorable), but I eventually decided on this little lovebird necklace (fourth photo). I absolutely love it.

Later, my Dad, sister, and I went to Baked Expectations for cheesecake. It was so delicious. I really love the photo that Chloe took, while we were sitting in a booth in front of the chalkboard (fifth photo).

I hope your weekend was fantastic!

Three Things I Love #1

1. This beautiful Kitchen-Aid mixer. It makes me want to bake cupcakes even more than usual. :)

2. The new Red Velvet online shop. Everything is so lovely. The RV girls are beyond talented.

3. This adorable Polaroid Land Camera plush. Too cute!

I know it's only Tuesday, but I'm already excited for the weekend. I'm going to Lune Vintage on Saturday (for the first time!), and Bloom on Friday. Perfect!

Enjoy the rest of your week!

Hooray for Long Weekends!

Hello, there!

I hope that you are having a lovely long weekend. I definitely have been. My good friend Rayvn has been staying with us while her parents are on a little trip. We've been having such crazy fun.

Random question - have you ever seen the movie "Fantastic Mr. Fox?" Rayvn, Chloe, and I watched it the other night (while snuggling with our sock monkeys from Bloom). I'm not usually a fan of animated movies, but this one was absolutely adorable (and hilarious). If you haven't watched it, you need to. :)

{Rayvn and Chloe. Rayvn's (left) toque is also from Bloom.}

Well, I am almost finished designing the layout for my blog. So, now I'll be able to start posting. I'm so excited! Well, I'm off to go bake some chocolate chip cookies. Talk to you soon!

Hello, There!

I'm Abbey. Welcome to my brand-new blog! Basically, this is just my little space to share with you the things that I love, and little moments and photos from my life. Since this is the big "first post", I'm not exactly sure what to write. So, I think a photo and a little introduction will do. :)

Call me Abbey, or Abbigail, or even Abbigail Sunshine (I'm not exactly sure how I got that nickname. I think my Mum called me it once, and it just stuck). I love photography, crafting, and indie music. Wrinkly animals like pugs and manatees make me smile. I would choose my Great Grandpa's old cardigans over any type of brand-name clothing any day. I would rather knit than text. I am inspired by anything and everything... especially beautiful blogs. :) Canada is my home, but I hope to travel the world when I am older. I could read all day long and not get bored. I absolutely love baking (especially cupcakes!). Sometimes I think that I wonder if I am actually eighty, and not fifteen. :P

Well, there you have it! I'm not sure if anybody will actually read this. But, if you are reading this, introduce yourself!

Have a lovely day,
